If you don’t fully qualify, we’ll let you know before any work begins. In many cases, you may still be entitled to a large contribution, leaving you to pay only a small amount towards the improvements.

Funding is supplied by major energy companies like British Gas, EDF, and NPower. The government sets them targets to lower carbon emissions, and they meet these by funding energy efficiency upgrades for homes. Approved installers complete the work, and then claim the costs back from the energy companies under the ECO scheme.
